Our Location

Our Lodges

The lodges are situated along one side of the ten-acre lake. Facing south, with beautiful views over the water they are reached by a private road leading to a parking space alongside each lodge. You would never believe you are so close to the city in our beautiful secluded and secure surroundings!

Fishing

The lake itself is home to an array of course fish, with Carp being the most sought after. Fishing is available to guests inclusive with their stay and we also have a small syndicate membership.

If on arrival you are not happy to stay with us, we will refund your money. But with super comfy beds, private hot tubs (most lodges), parking at your door, beautiful grounds and friendly staff on hand to help, what’s not to love?!

Things To Do

Had a fab three nights! Lodge was spacious, clean and the kitchen had all the utensils needed. It was lovely to see the table set up on our arrival. The hot tub was great. We had a lovely view of the lake. Staff were very friendly and helpful, It definitely is a hidden gem with easy access to a shopping outlet and York City.

Had a lovely 3 night break last week. Check in was seamless, lodge lovely and clean and warm. We had plenty of room. Great location for picking up park and ride into York city centre. We’ll definitely be booking again.

Had an amazing time the lodges are fantastic the grounds are lovely. Hot tub really good. If you want to stay in Yorkshire this is brilliant 🤩 plus you don’t have to be a fisherman to stay. Dog friendly. Really Really impressed
